Playing music started with friends, making ourselves happy, singing and being goofy, mimicking our favourite songs and musicians. I tend to remain true to that mind set.
“Along with school and Saturday jobs in the mattress factory and at the local newspaper, I worked in dance halls and bars on weekends. I had a fun time touring as a teenager in a country-dance band, and on my own, then playing through parts of Canada and Western Europe. As a union guitar player and singer playing underage in the mid-seventies, dues were paid, lessons learned and words exchanged. With no where to go but up I advanced my songwriting and performance craft in school and on stage. Longevity can be a super-power.”
