“Working at music started with friends, playing and making ourselves happy, singing and being goofy, mimicking our favourite rock stars. I tend to remain true to that mind set.
“I had a semi-successful run as a teenager in a country-dance band and on my own, playing through parts of Canada and Western Europe. For the next decade or so I worked at song-writing and at fine tuning my thoughts and skills. I began self-recording, DIY seriously, around 2001 with a 4-track. I’m grateful to have this urge to produce music and for the supportive fans and outlets I have for my songs. Longevity is a super-power.”

Along with school and Saturday jobs in the mattress factory and at the local newspaper, he worked in dance halls and bars on weekends. As a union guitar player and singer playing underage in the mid-seventies, dues were paid, lessons learned and words exchanged. With no where to go but up he advanced his songwriting craft in school and on stage. His original songs and influential covers, delivered live, remain relevant and authentic. The music is rich with ideas, emotional variety and can prompt toe-tapping and head-bobbing at any time.
